About these numbers
Monthly totals add up the recorded Saturdays. A person who visits more than once is counted each time. To get the average, we divide by the number of recorded Saturdays that month. Missing Saturdays are not treated as zero.

About these pounds
The graph shows reported calendar-month poundage after recorded returns. Chart period and the Graph month picker beside the graph title control the graph only. Choose a month and year in Graph month to jump directly to its bars and monthly summary; only months with source records are offered. Hover over Graph month and scroll up or down to move one month at a time. Keep scrolling to continue across years; a short pause between steps keeps navigation controlled. The start and end date pickers calculate the separate comparison totals; they do not change the graph, its selected month, or its scroll position. Browsing the graph does not change the comparison dates or totals.
Alternating background shades separate neighboring months. An outlined month is the month shown in the summary above. Total food is light teal, fruit is purple, vegetables are green, and protein is gold. The category colors have the same meaning in every month.
Choose Saturdays for a date comparison. Scroll over Month, Saturday, or Year to step forward or back. Both selected dates are included, along with every source record between them, including weekday credits. Graph year options include the full calendar year within the available source coverage. Partial source months are marked.
Figures use the SF–Marin Food Bank Invoices & Credits workbook for HAFP. The total starts with the report's “Poundage Distributed to Participants,” subtracts credit memo returns, and excludes 67.26 pounds of non-food COVID test kits. Fruit, vegetables, protein, and other food are exclusive parts of the total; do not add them to the total. Protein includes meat, fish, eggs, tofu, dry beans, and nuts; dairy and juice remain in other food. Weekly averages beneath the bars divide that month's reported pounds by its recorded delivery weeks. Multiple documents in one week count as one delivery week; credit-only dates do not add a delivery week. Missing weeks remain unverified. Distribution Saturday counts include only distinct Saturday dates with recorded food supply. Credit-only dates and weekday records do not increase that count; their pounds and returns remain in the totals. Dates are report/document dates, not independently verified participant handout dates. October 2026 is partial through October 10.

About volunteer numbers
Cards compare the number of retained forms or answers with the same month last year. They do not show how the mix of answers changed. Percent changes are withheld for partial months. ZIP codes describe volunteer intake forms, not guests. Multiple language and interest choices may overlap; groups with fewer than four responses have no exact count.

Saturday distributions
The 111 recorded HAFP distributions from Aug 24, 2024 through Oct 10, 2026 come from the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank Panda site. Guests signed in are people who came to pick up food; household figures represent people in their households. No-shows did not receive food that Saturday.
Volunteer intake
Volunteer data comes from the HAFP Jotform Volunteer Intake Form & Waiver export dated Oct 11, 2026, reviewed through Oct 10, 2026. The newest submission per normalized full name and email pair was retained: 1,208 intake records from 1,337 submissions. Submission dates run Jun 27, 2024–Oct 7, 2026. These are intake records, not an active volunteer roster.
